Prevent Child Abuse Ohio works closely with Children’s Hospital of Columbus and other prevention organizations to educate parents and the public about child abuse and neglect. Our Speakers’ Bureau, is comprised of trained volunteers, interested professionals, and adult survivors of child abuse and neglect. Speakers present educational workshops to parents, caregivers, organizations and community groups on a variety of topics including Shaken Baby Syndrome, HUGS, our Adult Survivor Panel, and the link between animal cruelty and family violence.

The courage, strength and dedication of our Adult Survivor Panel are extraordinary. We are very fortunate for their selflessness and very generous volunteer service. Comments from a recent speaking engagement with two of our speakers are listed below:

“Anastasia and Mozelle truly impacted the women who attended the seminar on Saturday.  I truly believe the messages that were delivered were heart felt and helped heal some hurting souls.  I have received numerous of emails and compliments since Saturday about Mozelle and Anastasia.  Words can not express the gratitude that we feel for allowing these women to grace us with their presence and tell their story.  I believe their voices will ring in the ears and the hearts of the women who attended for a very long time.  They were just outstanding and powerful.”
