Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Prevent Child Abuse Ohio! PCAO is very thankful for the efforts of our volunteers and we are always looking for more help in working towards keeping our state’s children safe from harm. We could not accomplish all of our goals and provide services to the community without the time, dedication, selflessness and efforts of our volunteers. In 2003, volunteers for Prevent Child Abuse Ohio donated a total of 15,345.14 hours of service!

We have a number of volunteer opportunities including our Volunteer Action Committee which staffs community events such as festivals, fairs, and open houses; our Speaker’s Bureau that provides presentations on child abuse and neglect in the community; and our Parent Resource Center which serves as a telephone link to the community for resources dealing with child care concerns, positive parenting and effective discipline and answering general questions on child abuse and neglect.
