In addition to Prevent Child Abuse Ohio, PCA America and more than 30 other PCA America state chapters are participating in this campaign, which will run year-round. The partnership begins this month in conjunction with Child Abuse Prevention Month and as the peak flower-buying season begins with spring gardens and Mother’s Day.

Show your support for the Pinwheels For Prevention Campaign and sponsor a pinwheel today!

In honor of the 4th Annual Pinwheels For Prevention Campaign, Prevent Child Abuse Ohio is looking for individuals to sponsor pinwheels for the 6,954 pinwheels representing the reported number of cases of child abuse and neglect in Franklin County in 2006. This display will be located in Livingston Park, between The Center for Child and Family Advocacy and Nationwide Children's Hospital. This display will be in the park starting on Sunday, March 30th and will be taken down the morning of Friday, April 4th.

The top of the 2008 pinwheel pin is two shades of blue with "88" in the middle representing the "88 in 08" Pinwheels For Prevention Campaign. It has silver colored accents and spins on the silver colored stem! The size of the pin is slightly over one inch in length and approximately half an inch in width.

Get with the band! Prevent Child Abuse Ohio, a chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America, is proud to take part in this nationwide campaign to raise awareness on child abuse and neglect.

The bands are blue, with "Prevent Child Abuse" on one side and Prevent Child Abuse America's website - www.preventchildabuse.org on the other side. We want people to make a statement for preventing child abuse by wearing the blue wrist band.
